In reflecting on the recent issue of illegal immigration, I discovered a parallel between the doctrines of salvation typical of modern Christians and the ideology behind illegal immigration and socialism.

Let's first look at modern Christianity in a nutshell:

To modern Christians the idea of works (approved of by authorized agents only) being required to secure a place in the Kingdom of Heaven denies the gift Jesus Christ is freely offering them. Much elation comes to those who receive the spirit of salvation without such works being necessary. Man is truly free at last! Many tears are shed in gratitude because of their discovery of and hope in their Messiah's offering causing them to feel “born again” because regardless of who and what they are, their salvation is secured in the Kingdom of Heaven through mere belief and acceptance alone. A person need only storm the gates in the name of their Savior to sumptuously feast on the boundless blessings of the Kingdom of Heaven! Those who oppose are to receive torment, such as burning in hell.

Let's now look at illegal immigration and socialism:

To illegal immigrants the idea of works (approved of by authorized agents only) being required to secure a place in America denies the gift President Obama is freely giving them. Much elation comes to those who receive the spirit of free education, free food, free healthcare, free social security, etc. without such works being necessary. Man is truly free at last! Many tears are shed in gratitude because of their discovery of and hope in their Messiah's offering causing them to feel “born again” because regardless of who and what they are, their free education, free food, free healthcare, free social security, etc. is secured in America through mere belief and acceptance alone. A person need only storm the gates in the name of their Savior to sumptuously feast on the boundless blessings of America! Those who oppose are to receive torment, such as being axed, picked or shot to death.

In case you didn't notice, the paragraphs were the same except for the terms in blue font. Neither paragraph seems significantly awkward or contrived. Thus, this natural parallel clearly demonstrates a direct relationship between the spiritual form that gives rise to the physical manifestation.

Ironically, many such Christians are simultaneously appalled by the reckless and irresponsible behavior of our federal government to neglect our nation's borders and reward free services, at our expense, to those entering illegally. These Christians perceive this as a curse and resist it with very good reason.

If you are such a Christian, it is time you reassessed the spiritual ideology of your hope of salvation:

• Do you expect to be received into the Kingdom of Heaven by your belief-only claim alone?

• Do you expect to receive eternal bliss in Heaven with no works being required?

Modern Christian ideology on salvation typically:

• Denies there will be duly authorized men with authority to administer the Kingdom of Heaven according to God's will when established on earth. (Many simply mystify it and don't even believe in a real kingdom to come on earth at all.)

• Considers any mention of works, including repentance, being required as an insult to the offering Jesus made. (Many say this implies His offering was not good enough to suppose the “free” gift He offers has any associated responsibilities on our part to maintain it.)

What if the Gospel as originally taught differs from what modern Christians typically teach today? According to Galatians 1:9, Paul prophesies they shall be accursed! Can we expect to believe this pure Gospel has remained pure over many centuries with the people being absent any duly authorized priesthood brethren of Paul's credentials to administer it? Especially since in Galatians 1:6-7 we see clear evidence the people were “so soon removed” right under their watchful care? Notice also, Paul has the premise they shall eventually become removed and marveled that it was “so soon”.

In 2 Thessalonians chapter 2 Paul makes this premise explicitly clear when he says apostasy will be standing at the time of Christ's return such that He will have to personally put it down. Paul says, “there come a falling away first”. Why? “Because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie.”

Who shall be made to believe a lie? Non-believers? Not exactly, they already did to start with. Paul is talking about those removed from the truth, yet continue to claim to have it, that will be given strong delusion. The more they believe they yet have the truth, the stronger their delusions will bind them.

Paul's message in Romans 1 says these who are worthy of God's wrath shall have their perversions made manifest to them by what they themselves are caused to suffer, and this so they are left without excuse when their eyes are opened to “the invisible things of him” that He is performing upon them.

“For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.

For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: … [they] became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. … Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools.”

These vessels of wrath hold the truth in unrighteousness, which means the truth of the Kingdom of God must have been clearly taught among them for them to hold God's truth in derision, while at the same time favoring and building up their twisted ideology in the place of it. These are who Paul refers to when he speaks of those “who draw back unto perdition”. (Hebrews 10:39)

In verse 20 Paul refers to “the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen”. He is telling us what happened at the beginning of the current creation causing “darkness” to prevail (Gen 1:2) and prophesying what shall repeat in the beginning of the new creation that is to come when Christ returns and is again among men in the flesh (Rev 21-22). Knowing these details from the beginning of our creation will help us be ready for the same pattern repeating for the new creation.

What is the “darkness”? People feel entitled to so many things these days. Food to eat, healthcare, housing, etc. is now a “right”. Never mind these are all things others must provide on their behalf. People have the idea all of the needs to sustain a happy life are owed to them and if challenges come they can just put out their hand and someone else is obligated to absorb their woes. They want Heaven with no works required of them. Please examine this picture and honestly look to see the parallel.

Contrast this with the “rule of law” that our great republic was founded upon that made us sovereigns, or kings and queens, in our own domains free from the molestation of others, including government to force us to do the “right” things. Sovereignty comes with great responsibility and the possibility of making mistakes and failing. The American dream was built on what the pure Gospel pointed us to!

No other system promotes responsible and respectful behavior more than allowing people to reap the consequences of their own actions. No other system of law will tend to the happiness and tranquility of the people more than that which secures all persons in their unalienable rights granted by the Creator.

This is why the true Christ is known as the King of kings. All under His true Gospel plan become joint heirs with Him. They are all governed equally in accordance to God's perfect laws and are not sponges on the socialistic dole coerced from their co-inheritors to give them an absolute guarantee of happiness. Their righteousness is not extracted by coercive mandates and elitist manipulations. It is genuine!

Sadly, what we have today is a democracy with little to no regard for the “rule of law”. This mobocracy is being driven by a “compassionate” nanny who partook of the fruit the Serpent offered and is now bent on a mission to secure the absolute guarantee of happiness for all (modern Christian's heaven). Of course this is so long as everyone unquestionably conforms to the elitist nanny's dictates.

This system of compulsion and violation of unalienable rights to garner a guarantee of happiness is the lie that can never be realized because it is parasitic and quickly consumes the resources of its host and promptly self-destructs. It takes hold and spreads quickly because it has such a sweet taste in the mouth. People want this lie to be true so bad they don't look down the road far enough to see its end. This is what is happening to our beloved America because of polluted ideologies from seducing devils. The spiritual well-spring of this is the perverted and seducing ideologies of modern Christianity itself.

There are many outside who think just because they desire to be here that they can come. They put aside the proper parameters clearly outlined to be here legitimately and march their way in demanding their so-called “rights” to free education, free healthcare, free food, etc. We are cursed with the burden to uphold this. If our religious ideology had remained pure, this curse wouldn't be happening to us!

How better can God expose us than to curse us with the burden of having our own spiritual perversions manifested in the flesh? All vileness we perceive around us has a parallel in other polluted ideologies that have taken hold in Christianity. I have merely shown two of them. There are many more just as clearly associated as these are. See Romans 1:26-32 for Paul's list of what God is giving us over to until we repent and become salt with savor again and dismiss these seducing doctrines of devils.

My prayer for us to the Father is this:

Let us awaken to the proper spirit and form Thy Gospel and Thy Kingdom should manifest in.

Let us throw off polluted and self-serving doctrines and ideologies that mock Thee and Thy Law.

Let us no longer be a threat to Thy authorized agents so that they may speak Thy Word openly.

Let us no longer entitle ourselves to storm the doors of Heaven demanding false rights.

Let us identify, expose and pull down the thieving band we have empowered with the lie.

Let us open our eyes and cease to reward with our praise and money those blaspheming Thy Name (2 Thess 2) in Thy Holy House (Seats of Power) posing as infallible beings above questioning.

Let us humble ourselves and seek wisdom from Thee and depart from Babylon (Rev 18).

Let us build up Thy Zion which Thou shalt soon redeem from its fallen and widowed condition.

Let us become Thy people living Thy Law in all meekness and humility that we may inherit the earth (Matt 5:5) in Thy new creation (2 Peter 3), wherein dwells righteousness.

Let us take to heart Thy promise that despite our sins and transgressions, for which we confess and acknowledge the justness of Thy punishments for such (Lev 26:27-41), that we shall in the end overcome and be cleansed and restored from all our sins and transgressions (Lev 26:42-46).

We love and praise Thee and wish with all our hearts, minds, might and strength to serve Thee!

This I pray unto the Eternal Father of mankind in the name of His Son Jesus Christ, Amen.

Is Ron Paul crazy for his position on the war and for criticizing our nation's foreign policy?  Many believe this to be the case. But, might we be mischaracterizing Ron Paul by over simplifying or clouding the issues?  A much closer examination based on facts and sound principles is in order.  In the end I will conclude that Ron Paul is indeed crazy.  Sorry to spoil it for you.

There are many things in his favor. To answer pressing questions of our time, Ron Paul relies on historical facts many American's are ignorant of.  He isn't afraid to reveal clandestine operations and interventions motivated out of our national self-interest or special-interests that have had detrimental results to other peoples in the world. 

He is even bold enough to admit there is a tendency on the part of government to cover-up things to maintain a façade that we are always on moral high-ground in the world.  Some see in him a rare privilege to have a candidate step forward with a willingness to reveal these inconvenient truths while others choose to characterize him as a “Blame America First” fringe candidate and dismiss the possibility that he could be on to something.

Ron Paul's tendency towards transparency on these matters is at the root of why he is being attacked and marginalized because there is so much denial due to various forms of conditioning of people's opinions. Some people simply can't accept the reality that we are not always angelic and beneficial to others in the world as we were taught in grade school but this is an area where a reality check is definitely in order.

For example, who is it that "radicalized" Islam to fight against the Russians?  We did! We created Osama Bin Laden.  We created and installed Sadaam Hussein.  We have been purposely destabilizing numerous regions and have and are causing all kinds of malice and strife among nations.  Could Al Qaeda actually be like Frankenstein’s Monster?  Do we really want to tamper so frivolously with the Law of the Harvest as we have been for decades?  We deserve to know the facts as a self-governing nation so that We the People can make the best decisions. It’s our responsibility to search them out.

Ron Paul’s popularity is because there are many who are hungry for answers that make sense of all they see going on in the world who don't buy the idea that we are hated because we are rich and free.  These people want the truth and are willing to accept the truth of our nation’s imperfections, even if they are unintended consequences of well-meaning actions.  Inevitably, this is the crowd who is willing to face up to the reality this implies and to seek to make the world a better place in as peaceful manner as possible.  Does this sound insane to you?

Ron Paul’s impeccable record of public and private conduct gives him a very rare position to speak on all matters of his platform without hypocrisy; especially where Constitutional matters are concerned.  Coupled with his obvious absence of guile when he speaks he is greatly enlarging the soul of this nation.  He is the heart of a much needed revolution to put aside shaping this world through force and control and replacing it with going back to setting a good example and using persuasion and friendship instead, reserving force of arms strictly for self-defense as a last resort only.  Is this crazy?

Ron Paul sees Iran as acting in a very logical manner based on what he knows of the history and current events. He recognizes all we are doing to engender strife and conflict and sees how it is coming back to haunt us as countries seek to defend themselves against our policies of aggression.  He sees how the continuation and escalation of these failing policies of our past will simply make our national security more threatened.  There is an excellent video hosted by TownHall.com where Ron Paul talks about this: Video Link

I am eager to hear other's perspectives and see if I can discern any blind spots or failings in Ron Paul's platform but so far nobody has prevailed against him.  Bill O'Reilley’s attempt was miserable because he refused historical facts and valid parallels to be examined to establish a reasoned perspective.  Please watch this video: Video Link

There was a post here on TownHall.com by Phil Harris on 10/23/07 where he says that Ron Paul is giving a prescription for disaster but Phil also failed to convince me. In fact, Phil convinced me all the more that Ron Paul's detractors are the ones prescribing the path to disaster.  The path Phil promoted is nothing short of an all-out full scale escalation of war with the defined goal to utterly and totally subdue the Islamic people based on the notion that the Islamic people simply want Israel and the USA exterminated from the planet.  He promotes the idea that we either annihilate them pre-emptively or they will annihilate us.  He leaves no room for any other scenario in his perspective.  In either case he promotes there is certain disaster so by his own admission he is the one issuing the prescription of disaster, not Ron Paul.

This kind of over simplification is a brainwashing tactic that tries to get people to think they are helpless and without alternatives while they accuse their opponent of exactly what they themselves are guilty of.  Reasoning from a fear-based viewpoint tends to exhibit this kind of contracted and self-accusing thinking and those doing it are knowingly or unknowingly acting as an agent for those who stand to benefit from the war and destruction this mentality will assure.  Phil acts as if we are totally powerless to effect real solutions that will avert the death and destruction an all out world conflict would cause.  Thanks to having Ron Paul on the stage we get to hear valid alternatives even if they sound crazy to some.

There is a better way but it involves us humbling ourselves as a nation and repenting of our evils we have perpetrated and forgiving the evils that have been perpetrated against us.  The world overall will be a much better place by abiding by these principles and trusting in our Creator who gave us these principles with the promise that “eternal life” comes to all who abide by them.  This is Ron Paul's platform and it will save this nation, not sacrifice it. 

With all the advances in technology we had better evolve as a people before we self-destruct and render our precious planet uninhabitable in our foolish pride and fears born of false assumptions.  Could the “eternal life” spoken of in the Bible actually be referring to the set of principles we must collectively live by in order to avoid a conflict to such a point that this planet is rendered unable to accommodate our presence?  This question deserves our most serious and sincere consideration.  The last person we want in front of "the button" is a myopic fear-based person who is prone to shoot first and ask questions later.

Our current mentality insists that we have to force and sculpt global conditions to stamp out any potential threat pre-emptively as if there is no Creator watching over and protecting this nation.  Unfortunately, this is the very mentality that will cause us to become unworthy of divine protection and we will be left to our own strength and devices and we will become considered as “salt that has lost its savor” and we will end up “trodden under the foot of men”.  This is universal law in my book.

I implore everyone to set aside some time to do some sincere and humble research into this issue and even make it a matter of prayer/meditation and fasting.  I challenge everyone to assure you are not taking this responsibility to chose our Commander in Chief lightly.  I challenge all to step up and articulate their position that strikes against the establishment's headlong plunge of our nation into an abyss of death and destruction as Phil, not Ron Paul, is prescribing.

And, as I promised, I do sincerely conclude that yes, Ron Paul is crazy.  He is taking on a very powerful group that have patiently endeavored for generations to acquire the positions of power they control and Ron Paul is courageously standing up and giving our nation an opportunity to wake up and keep this nation a free country governed by We the People.  The adversary of our freedom is only authorized to sieze the power we willingly lay down.  If we don't wisely govern ourselves the default governance imposes a loss of our liberties and we only have ourselves to blame.  There is nothing to fear when we seek with all our hearts, might, mind and strength to be responsible and passionate about maintaining our liberties.  Darkness cannot abide the light.

This is a very defining moment in our nation's history.  All Americans should do a reality check on Ron Paul before dismissing him.  We as a nation of self-governance must be willing to stand up and accept the responsibility to be vigilant in preserving our individual liberties and champion those who take the lead, crazy though they are for doing it.
